I'm looking at a lot of images like the one below, and some just persistently come to mind. I've been wanting to do group portraiture for quite a while, so I'm going to be possibly working away at some in the next few months. Who knows if it will make it into thesis. It's sort of one of those things you have to feel out.

Liberation of Austria, Website Progress and Other News
http://werkstadt.at/werkstadt_neu/index.php?pageid=22&l=2
Above is a link regarding the program, Liberation of Austria, in which I'll be privileged to participate Summer 2011. I'm very excited about the opportunity and very grateful!
In other news, I've been making lots of new work, and have been preparing a home studio in which I have been working in order to make the transition from student to civilian, so to speak, easier.
I'm currently learning how to properly document my work, making progress on a website, and editing my artist's resume (along with prodding along on my thesis work). I hope to soon provide you with a link to my website along with updates of what else is happening.
Lastly but not Leastly, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with several friends (or should I say, I'm being introduced to the possibilities of collaboration!)
Here is a website just launched by my friend Joseph... It's quite amazing and really worth checking out.

Hopefully the next update will be the launch of my own website (well see!)

Hey Everyone, here's some recent illustration from this semester, not my best, but not the worst either... Next semester I will be taking book illustration, which is more my cup of tea... so you'll see those in a few months along with more selections of my thesis/fine art work.
Assignment- choose a famous historical individual- Title: Lumber Jackson- about Mr. Twenty Dollar Bill's clearing of land and his kindness to the people who occupied that land (in the name of God and country).
ReInterpretation of Aseop Fable- The Mother and the Wolf (mistress wolf gets the last laugh)
A famished wolf was prowling about in the morning in search of food. As he passed the door of a cottage built in the forest, he heard a Mother say to her child, "Be quiet, or I will throw you out of the window, and the Wolf shall eat you." The Wolf sat all day waiting at the door. In the evening he heard the same woman fondling her child and saying: "You are quiet now, and if the Wolf should come, we will kill him." The Wolf, hearing these words, went home, gasping with cold and hunger. When he reached his den, Mistress Wolf inquired of him why he returned wearied and supperless, so contrary to his wont. He replied: "Why, forsooth! use I gave credence to the words of a woman!"
